The beginning
Since 2003 Call of Duty has run the scene coming out with a new game yearly. Call of Duty had the greatest five year stretch of gaming ever from Call of Duty World at War to Call of Duty Black Ops 2. During that time they had a fierce battle with the Battlefield franchise where they labeled the Call of Duty fans as "COD fan boys".

During the Call of Duty And Battlefield Wars that lasted for years a lot of content came out from the fans to support call of duty against their rival. COD fan boys such as Brysi made their career by creating video game songs which mostly were Call of Duty. One of his popular songs was a COD vs Battlefield video Brysi would have Call of Duty fans to send in clips for him to use in the videos. There is other popular COD fan boys like Whiteboy7thst who would make montage clips and have his MOAB Mondays on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

COD Pro League
Call of Duty became very popular that they eventually created a pro league for the gamers to be on. At the time Halo had a very popular pro league but eventually Call of Duty will beat them out in popularity and a lot of former pro Halo player would switch over to compete in Call of Duty. Some of the pro Call of duty players would become very famous to the fan base by posting videos on Youtube and having pro teams/clans. One of the most famous players being Scump who competed on Call of Duty for the Optic team and go down as one of the greatest pro players ever. Call of Duty fans loved watching him stream the game on YouTube and later Twitch. Scump still posts Call of Duty clips on Youtube and one of his best clips is a montage clip that only has pro clips in it.
